Sustainability
Substantive, reported on, and built into every contract.
From the 2022 merger that broadened our community work (schools, biodiversity, social value) to a net-zero carbon reduction plan aligned with PPN 01/21, sustainability runs through our operations rather than sitting on a page.
Environmental Practices
- Non-toxic, biodegradable chemistry as the default
- Bamboo and recyclable consumables wherever practical
- Microfibre systems that cut water and chemical use
- Waste segregation and recycling stations on every contract
- Low-water floor and washroom systems
Training and Communication
- Carbon Literate workforce trained in partnership with BITCNI
- Quarterly refresher training for every operative
- Site-specific sustainability briefings at mobilisation
- Open reporting lines from operative to client
Contract Goals
- Reduce single-use plastics across the contract footprint
- Track and report consumables consumption monthly
- Set measurable energy and water reduction targets
- Support schools, community projects and biodiversity
Supply Chain and Travel
- Local sourcing wherever quality and price are competitive
- Route planning to minimise vehicle mileage
- Vetted suppliers aligned with our ethical standards
- Living Wage accredited workforce across the supply chain
Net zero
Aligned with PPN 01/21.
We maintain a carbon reduction plan in line with PPN 01/21 and report against it on every public contract we deliver. Our long-term goal is measurable, audited net zero, not an aspiration we keep moving.
